The Otiwhiti Station Land Based Training Farm School is a not for profit charitable company (registered charity no. CC48949). This company is run by a board of directors comprising of Malcolm Nitschke (chairman), Martin Walshe (director), Rob Gollan (director) and Charlie Duncan (director). A third of the funding is reliant on sponsorship, donations and fundraising events. The balance of the funding is from the cadets paying a modest accommodation fee and course fee.
There are many ways in which you can help us and we greatly appreciate all donations made. Your generosity will enable us to continue our work in providing a training facility and programme that enables us to achieve our aim: To give students an opportunity to enhance and develop their skills and knowledge to become good hill country employees. This will help them to decide what employment pathways they may choose for their future in the field of agriculture.
